Advanced Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery, the nations largest dermatology practice, recently acquired multiple practices now strategically ads multiple Dermatologists throughout Florida to accommodate increased patient volume.
ADCS Clinics (?ADCS?) announced it has added six (6) new Dermatologists to their practice, which already consists of over 120 providers. As demand from patients increase to see a dermatologist, so does the time it takes to book an appointment. Adding new dermatologists will help shorten wait times and increase the quality of care.

Dr. Kristen Stewart earned her Bachelor of Science at Villanova University, her Master of Science at Pennsylvania State University and her Medical Degree at Temple University. Her early academic and clinical achievements include membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and being named Hospital Intern of the Year. Dr. Stewart completed her residency in Dermatology at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatologists and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Before joining Advanced Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery, Dr. Stewart served as a physician in the U.S. Navy for over 10 years, first as a flight surgeon and later as a dermatologist. As a military physician, Dr. Stewart was trained in aviation medicine, including Space Operations Medical Training at NASA, and tropical medicine. She received numerous honors and awards during her military career, including recognition by the Deputy Surgeon General of the Navy for being among the top five dermatologists ranked by patient satisfaction.
Dr. Stewart practices general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She has specific interest skin cancer prevention, surveillance, and treatment, as well as acne and anti-aging skin care. Additionally, Dr. Stewart has significant post-doctoral clinical training and expertise in vulvar dermatology, a subspecialty at the intersection of gynecology and dermatology. She is a member of the International Society for the Study of Vulvovaginal Diseases and has authored multiple recent publications related to caring for women with vulvar dermatoses. Active in the Women's Dermatologic Society, she was a representative to the Board of Directors as a resident and is currently co-chair of its Young Physicians Task Force. Dr. Stewart will be practicing out of one of our Jacksonville offices in the St. Luke Hospital area.
Dr. Madeline Gainers earned her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She completed her dermatology residency at Washington University in St. Louis and her research fellowship at the Harvard Skin Disease Research Center. A graduate of Florida State University and member of Phi Beta Kappa, Dr. Gainers has joined Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery in the greater Jacksonville area. Dr. Gainers will be practicing in Jacksonville out of the Dunn Avenue and Chimney Lakes offices.
Dr. David Boyd earned his Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Vanderbilt University, his Master of Science in Strategic Intelligence from the Joint Military Intelligence College, and his Doctor of Medicine from the Uniformed Services University. He completed his dermatology training within the National Capital Consortium in Bethesda, Maryland. He was on Active Duty in the U.S. Navy for 25 years, first as a Naval Flight Officer, and later as a Flight Surgeon and Dermatologist. He has been in Jacksonville, Florida since 2008, and retired as a Commander in 2012.
Dr. Boyd is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology. His primary interests include the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, as well as all aspects of medical dermatology. He has a particular interest in the treatment of follicular-based skin conditions. Dr. Boyd is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the American Medical Association and the Association of Military Dermatologists. He served as President of the Jacksonville Dermatologic Society in 2012. He has held an aca
demic appointment in Dermatology at the Uniformed Services University for more than five years, and has multiple articles and presentations to his credit. Dr. Boyd will be treating patients in the Baptist South and St. Lukes office in Jacksonville, Florida.Dr. Mary E. "Betsy" Leveritt, recently graduated with highest honors from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Davie, FL, followed by completion of internship at St. Petersburg General Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL. Subsequently, Dr. Leveritt graduated from her dermatology residency at Wellington Regional Medical Center, in Wellington, FL. Dr. Leveritt will be practicing out of our Vero and Sabastian offices in South Florida.
Dr. Sima?Jain is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology.?
Education. She completed undergraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore where she earned the distinguished honors of being inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. She continued on to Florida for medical training and earned her Medical Doctorate at the University of Florida. Dr Jain did her dermatology training at the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center.
At the University of Florida College of Medicine, Dr. Jain received her Medical Doctorate with Honors. The academic medical center affiliated with the University of Florida where she received her medical education is consistently ranked as one of the nation's premier health care facilities.
At the University of Illinois Chicago Medical Center, Dr. Jain was trained by national thought leaders in adult and pediatric dermatology, dermatologic surgery, and cosmetic surgery. During her training at the University of Illinois she was chosen to become Chief Resident because of her leadership and excellence in teaching. Alpha Omega Alpha, the prestigious medical honor society, selected Dr. Jain to receive their annual Resident Teaching Award for providing "excellent clinical teaching to medical students." Dr. Jain will be practicing out of our Winter Park, Florida office.
Dr. Rachel Epstein is one of a select few Board Certified, Fellowship Trained Dermatologic Surgeons in the Tampa Bay Area, who specializes in Mohs Micrographic Surgery. She received her Bachelors of Science, Summa Cum Laude, in Biology and Exercise Physiology at the University of Miami. Upon graduating with Highest Honors from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2007, she completed her internship and dermatology residency at Largo Medical Center, where she served as Co-Chief Resident. Dr. Epstein went on to complete a Procedural Dermatology Fellowship specializing in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, Dermatologic Surgery, and Cosmetic Procedures at Loma Linda University. She also served as a Clinical Instructor of Dermatology at Loma Linda University School of Medicine
Dr. Epstein has been nationally recognized, receiving prestigious awards for her presentations, research and publications. She is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American College of Mohs Surgery, American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons, American Osteopathic Association, Florida Society for Dermatologic Surgeons, and American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
Dr. Epstein has a passion for dermatologic surgery and cutaneous oncology. She enjoys getting to know each and every patient and providing compassionate, quality care. Dr. Epstein will be providing MOHS surgery throughout Tampa area.
