Looking for a new hobby to bond over with friends and family? Ashley, one of our top colorists at Maxime, loves channeling her creative juices into her family?s tradition of scrapbooking! Read on to learn how you can become an expert at scrapbooking, too?
While?scrapbooking?may be an up and coming trend, the creative hobby has been a tradition in my family since I was in high school. About six times a year, the women on my mother?s side of the family all get together for a scrapbooking party- complete ?with delicious food, good conversation, and, of course, scrap booking! These parties aren?t just about organizing photos- they?re also a wonderful chance to bond and catch up with my family.
At each party, we consult with a Creative Memories representative to get fresh ideas and learn about new trends in scrapbooking. Creative Memories is a scrapbooking company with tens of thousands of consultants worldwide. They host all different kinds of parties, ranging from birthdays to weekend getaways. Whatever you need to get your scrapbooking done, this company has it! ?We love photos. They help us celebrate our greatest moments and remember the special people, places and events that make up a well-lived life.?
Scrapbooking has become my favorite hobby now that I have so many pictures from my engagement, wedding, vacations, etc. to put into albums. You can get supplies from Creative Memories as well as many ?other arts and crafts stores.??Michael?s Arts and Craft is my main supplier of scrapbooking stickers and paper. My mother and I have an entire collection of stickers including letters and numbers, phrases, animals, vacation destinations- anything you could imagine. We love stickers! They make your entire page of pictures come together. Another great store is The Scrapbook Cupboard in East Bridgewater, where you can buy supplies, take classes, or even host a party. Scrapbooking is a fantastic hobby because you can share the experience with your friends and family, while creating a scrapbook to preserve memories for years to come.
Now go find your pictures and start scrapping!
